WHAT IS X-CORE?

X-Core is a boot camp inspired training program designed to challenge any and all fitness levels.  Each 1-hour class is designed with a new and challenging workout to keep you engaged and constantly improving throughout the program. Workouts include strength training, cardio, plyometric, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), agility drills, core training and even some fun games.  Come join this fun, family oriented, supportive environment and get awesome results along the way.  Remember, you WILL get out what you put in!

Increase in total body functional strength: This is a great way to get started on your fitness journey.  Because of the construction of the class you will be working with lower weights in a faster pace or timed setting.  This will lead the body to increase relative or functional strength in lieu of absolute strength  

Decrease in overall body fat: Because the majority of the routines designed will be metabolic you will be apt to use more energy throughout the workouts.  Because of this you will be primed to burn more fat for the duration of your training.  

Improved cardiovascular health and stamina: The design of the workouts challenges your cardiovascular system throughout, so as a result you will see improvements to your cardiovascular health and an increase in your stamina.  

Increased overall speed: Similar to you cardiovascular health improvement, the workouts are designed to challenge your speed and power.  With continual usage the result will be that you will have more speed.                                                                                                                                                                           Improved body and visual aesthetics: Even if your goal is not based on image the work that you will put into each workout will ultimately lead to improvements in your physique.  You will build more lean muscle and as stated above lose body fat.  The results of these will be a more defined body. Do I hear a stage show in your future?  LOL

New and confident self-awareness: One of the best benefits that you will get is a better self-image.  Once all your other benefits and goals start coming to fruition your mindset will change greatly.  The knowledge of all of the hard work that you put in, the difference in times, being able to lift more weight and not being as tired will give you a mental and emotional boost that cannot be taken away.

A friend of mine asked me to join her in the SFX X-Core Challenge I asked.. “what do I have to do?” I wasn’t prepared for what was to become a whole new way of life for me. And it started to show... I couldn’t wait to come home, hand my folder to my husband with my current “stats” and say.. “Look at the changes...” Everything seemed to get better. I was sleeping better, my skin looked better, my clothes fit better, I had more energy, I felt strong... And every time I leave the gym I feel better than when I arrived. I consider that, my greatest success.

X-CORE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

OWL CIRCUITS


Early morning & lunch time class will work with your fitness level to offer a non-intimidating range of exercises including, but not limited to interval, strength and plyometric training and cardiovascular exercises.  The whole class of explosive circuits are thoughtfully crafted to help you achieve the body you want.

POWER HIIT


Whether you are looking to build muscle or burn fat Power HIIT is guaranteed to deliver a challenging yet fun workout for all fitness levels.  Class consists of an active warm up and circuits combining power training and high intensity cardio which involves performing explosive exercises with short rest intervals. This class is the ultimate muscle building and fat burning workout.

FAB ABS & BOOTY


Hit the turf on Wednesday nights with Kim for a full body workout with emphasis on developing and toning abs, glutes and legs.  Classes consists of a dynamic warm-up, strength intervals, HIIT drills, planks and core work. Don't worry about the name guys, this class is for you too.

HYBRID


This evening class is a mix between HIIT training and strength training.  Just like every other large group class you will get a metabolic workout, but you will also include some intense compound exercises to build strength.  Classes consist of a COREctive exercise warm-up, circuits of 3 - 5 exercises ranging from heavy squats to sprints, and core / stability drills. This class mix will keep you on your toes every time. 

CONDITIONING


Friday Fun Day has a new name. End your week with this high intesity class that will burn calories into the weekend.  Classes are designed to challenge and boost your heart rate, both during the class and beyond. Classes consist of a dynamic warm-up and a variety of HIIT circuits.  Bring a towel!

WARRIOR


Saturday mornings give you the opportunity to test your metal. It's time to put you body where your mouth is.  This is all about challenging yourself to be the best. Class consists of a dynamic warm-up, timed sprints, a unique timed "warrior" circuit and a goal driven strength circuit. Results will be recorded to measure progression.
